Skinfluence – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Skinfluence (“Skinfluence,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website, booking
an appointment, purchasing products or services, or receiving treatment at our clinic, you agree
to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not use our services.

1. Medical Disclaimer

Skinfluence is a medical aesthetics clinic offering cosmetic and skin-related treatments. Some
services are medical procedures and may only be performed by licensed medical professionals
under Alberta law.
All information provided on our website, social media, or in-clinic materials is for informational
purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Individual results may vary. No
guarantees are made regarding outcomes.
Clients are responsible for disclosing accurate and complete medical histories prior to treatment.

2. Eligibility for Services

You must be at least 18 years of age to receive treatments unless written parental or guardian
consent is provided and accepted by Skinfluence.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for medical, safety, or professional reasons.

3. Appointments, Cancellations, and No-Shows

● Appointments must be booked in advance.
● We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
● Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee or forfeiture of a
deposit.
● Arriving late may result in reduced treatment time or cancellation without refund.

4. Deposits and Payments

● Certain treatments may require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.
● Full payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Refunds and Returns

● All services are final sale and non-refundable once rendered.

Skinfluence is not responsible for unsatisfactory results where proper care instructions were
followed and treatment was performed according to professional standards.

8. Aftercare and Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for:
● Following all pre- and post-treatment instructions
● Reporting adverse reactions promptly
● Attending follow-up appointments if recommended
Failure to follow instructions may affect results and void any corrective considerations.

9. Privacy and Personal Health Information

Skinfluence complies with Alberta’s Health Information Act (HIA) and applicable privacy laws.
Your personal and health information will be collected, used, and stored securely for treatment,
billing, and legal purposes. We will not share your information without consent unless required
by law.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, images, and materials associated with Skinfluence are the property
of Skinfluence and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skinfluence, its owners, employees, contractors, and
medical professionals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
arising from the use of our services or facilities.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Skinfluence from any claims, damages, or expenses
arising from:
● Misrepresentation of medical history
● Failure to follow aftercare instructions
● Violation of these Terms and Conditions

13. Amendments

Skinfluence reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms
will be posted on our website or available in-clinic.
Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws
of Canada applicable therein.
