Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning for at least 5–7 days before treatment. Do not use strong skin-irritating products such as retinoids, exfoliating acids, benzoyl peroxide, or harsh scrubs for 3–5 days prior to your appointment. Arrive with clean skin free of makeup, lotions, or oils. Inform your provider about any medications or active skin treatments you are currently using.

What to do after your Acne Treatment?

Your skin may appear slightly red or sensitive for a short period after treatment. Avoid touching or picking at treated areas. Use gentle cleansers, soothing moisturizers, and daily SPF protection. Avoid strong exfoliants, retinoids, and active acne products for 3–5 days after treatment unless advised otherwise.
